Speech Mapping

Live Speech Mapping is a counselling and rehabilitation tool used to help you and your family 'see what you hear.'

A tiny probe is placed in you ear canal and visual representations of the amount of speech reaching your eardrum are recorded and displayed on a screen in real time generating a better unederstanding of your hearing. Your hearing loss can also be simulated helping your family develop a greater appreciation of your hearing.

Live Speech Mapping is a valuable tool in the process of fitting hearing devices. It allows us both to understand how your device is performing in your ears in real time. More important, it helps determine whether the performance of the hearing device is optimal for your hearing providing guidance on changes that me y need to be made thereby always ensuring a fitting precision.
