The Ida Institute

The Ida Institute is a charity whose role is to provide greater insight and a more holistic understanding of the complex journey of hearing loss to better assist hearing care professionals and hearing impaired persons. Cubex recognises its great value and supports its commitment in generating innovative, practical and actionable knowledge.

The Ida institute is committed to generating and imparting innovative, practical and actionable knowledge. It is organised around the concept of collaborative learning that enhances and facilitates exchange among thought, leaders, scholars, practitioners, educators and professional advocacy groups. 

Ida Seminars

These are a series of educational seminars for hearing care professionals focusing on key issues related to the physical, anthropological, psychological and social aspects of hearing loss.  They are usually 3-day programs in which participants are involved in interactive workshops, group discussion, individual reflection, theatre sessions and lectures from Ida faculty. An important function of the seminars are to create networking opportunities with hearing care professionals, organisations, academic institutions and professional groups.
