Adam Shulberg, RHAD FSHAA, Managing Director
Adam studied at the Royal National Throat Nose and Ear Hospital, Gray’s Inn Road and in 1980, qualified as the youngest hearing aid audiologist in the UK.
By 1984 he was actively involved in the running of a hearing aid audiology clinic in Madrid with 'satellites' in Northern and Southern Spain, whilst also establishing himself in the UK practice.
Adam became Managing Director of Cubex in 1995 when the London based operation moved to its new high-tech premises in New Cavendish Street and where he still offers independent consultancy, advice and assistance to a high profile International clientele.

He is also currently involved in a project in Western Nepal, founded in 2001, where he has set up a hearing aid distribution programme and is responsible for facilitating, training and supervision of 7 Community Ear workers and over 700 volunteers.
Adam is a member of the British Society of Hearing Aid Audiologists, American Academy of Audiology and a Fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and is also a member of the Ida Institute, a charity whose role is to provide a more holistic understanding of the complex journey of hearing loss.
Leigh Martin BSc. RHAD
Audiologist
Mr. Leigh Martin is a dedicated, progressive clinical Audiologist, and a firm believer that a bio-psychosocial approach to delivering Audiological care is essential.
Having graduated from the University of Bristol’s BSc. Audiology program with 1st class honours, Leigh has excelled in the Audiological community, delivering high quality hearing healthcare and innovation in a number of clinical, research and professional roles.
In 2009 Leigh was appointed to the board of directors for the British Academy of Audiology where he represented the profession on many issues, including the future training of Audiologists.
Leigh’s research area of interest is auditory processing and in particular Auditory Processing disorders. He is a high achiever having displayed academic posters at several Audiological conferences, organized and presented two academic sessions at the British Academy of Audiology Annual Conference and has recently submitted an academic paper to a peer reviewed journal.
Orla Kealy BSc. RHAD
Audiologist
Miss Orla Kealy graduated from DeMontfort University with a BSc Honours in Audiology and is currently studying for her Masters in Advanced Clinical Audiology in Bristol University. She has a great passion for Audiology and a strong desire to empower people to live the lives they want with the hearing they have.
Before joining Cubex, Orla spent time in the NHS working in many clinical settings with adults, paediatrics and complex needs patients. In 2009, she joined the British Academy of Audiology, where she currently represents Audiologists throughout the UK, ensuring that the profession is represented at a national and international level. Orla is committed to ensuring that the training needs of future audiologists in the UK are continuously met. She has also participated in research projects with the National Biomedical Research Unit in Hearing.
Using all their skills and extensive training in diagnostics and auditory rehabilitation, Orla and Leigh are equipped to help us deliver scientifically sound services to you, our professional colleagues and to our clients.
Maureen Hole, Book Keeper
Maureen has been with Cubex for 22 years. Although her main role is "keeping the books" she is very involved in all aspects of customer care and provides cover in all areas of administration.
With Maureen’s considerable experience she is always available to offer advice and support.
Maureen enjoys spending most of her time with grand-children, family and friends.
Linda Genovese, Receptionist
Born in Islington, Linda spent many years working as a secretary in Devon before she joined Cubex as Receptionist. Linda has been part of the team for 12 years and she is very happy to have witnessed the transformation of people’s lives through their improved hearing.
Her daily activities include booking appointments, greeting clients, liaising with Consultants, GP’s and other ENT professionals, ensuring a smooth and beneficial collaboration with all.
Maddy Ilie, Marketing Executive
Maddy joined us in April 2009 and she is responsible for increasing awareness and understanding of Cubex and its activities using a range of marketing tools including publications, events, website, competitions, partnerships, PR and promotional materials. Previously, Maddy collaborated with Cancer Research UK, CIRIA and the Television Romania Tomorrow and her background include a BA in Philosophy& Journalism.
